Headless Horseman

Like the Disney cartoon "The Tale of Sleepy Hollow." I feel sometimes that the church has become the terror of an insecure world, tormenting the thoughts of men and woman with her passion and zeal for influence. All the while she looks ridiculous riding around with a pumpkin for a head. Isn't Christ the head of the church and isn't his goal to restore men and women to the image of God and isn't the means by which He accomplishes this GRACE? Not coorporate influence or money.
